Oslo Startup House (www.Oslo.Startup.House) launched 2017. We have one room becoming available March 15th. Do you have an interest in Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship or Impact Entrepreneurship? - then you will be able to find like-minded people in this house!
The house on Ekeberg is from the 70s. Custom drawn by an architect to be huge as a mansion (309 m2). The bedroom becoming available December 1st has the best view and holds a good standard. It has a walk-in-closet, is bright with lots of windows, a good location and is about 18 m2. It is furnished and comes with a large (180 x 200) Jensen continental double bed, night stand and a large closet. Above the bed there is 4 dimmable spots with switches both by the bed and next to the door. Light from the roof can also be controlled both from the bed and by the entrance. You can even use a remote to program when the lights should turn on, to wake up more comfortably. The spots above the bed will first turn on the strength you define, before the entire room light up!
The house has 2 bathrooms, one in 1st floor and the other in 2nd floor. 1st floor has a big kitchen, and also features an inviting living room.
Collective transportation going downtown is very good. The 70 bus, 23 bus, 34 bus and subway is all just a short walk away (www.zite.cc/Lyngveien_40). It takes about 10 minutes to get downtown and you can return home any day at 1 am. In the weekend you can get home later by taking the night bus.
The area is open and green, with tons of possibilities for jogging, workouts and recreation. We have for instance Norway's first frisbeegolf. Bicycling is very nice in the summer.
Closest grocery store is just 5 minutes from the house, and there are several shopping malls nearby.
